Atum

 In ’97, Atum moved back to his hometown of Dallas, and created Astral Tribe. They began doing monthly full moon events, and the scene began to flourish. In ’99 he moved to San Francisco and teamed up with Dutch. Dutch was working with a group called Thump Radio. Thump Radio did radio shows for electronic music and psytrance events. He and Dutch worked together promoting numerous events in the SF area including the infamous (((Thump))) event. It was at this monthly event that Atum got his chance to play music along side some of the best psytrance producers in the world. While watching these producers actually creating music with their computers, he had found the next goal to accomplish in his music career. Thump Radio was growing rapidly, and by ’04 the radio side of things was too much work for their producer Mason. Mason began training Atum how to produce radio shows. He learned fast, and before he knew it was producing one of the #1 dance music shows that aired in Los Angeles. In 2010, Atum has taken all he has learned over the years and has teamed up with veteran psytrance producer and long time friend, Jirah. They have begun working well together and have formed the collaboration project known as Psymmetry and also founded AT Records.
