Something that's very easy to do using flickr.com. flickr.com is a platform onto which, once you're registered, you can upload up to 100MB of pictures a month that you can then organise into groups or 'pools' for free. With applications this pictures will be shown on our's and some and some connected sites and (my)spaces.
 You can invite your friends to join these pools and they can then contribute their pictures too. This way, large picture communities develop and you're certain to find something of interest amongst them. As of June 2009, it claims to host more than 3.6 billion images, up from 3 billion in November 2008.
